Biography
Mildred M.G. Olivier, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Mildred M.G. Olivier, MD, is Assistant Dean for Diversity, Professor of Surgery, and Director of Global Health, Chicago Medical School, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and CEO and Founder, Midwest Glaucoma Center. A past AAO board member and past president of WIO, Dr. Olivier is coeditor of Global Health and Volunteering Beyond Borders and coleader of the Glaucoma Research Foundation grant studying the IRIS Registry for racial and demographic patterns of MIGS utilization. She received the AGS Humanitarian Award, WIO Bernice Z. Brown Award, the Roman-Barnes Award, AMA Dr. Nathan Davis Award and PAAO Benjamin Boyd Humanitarian Award.
